Implementation and monitoring of a new process oven used in the metal injection molding process.
DEMCON metal injection molding will implement a new furnace for the so-called ‘thermal debinding’ of its molded parts. The purpose of the furnace is to remove polymer binders from a metal part, as to prepare the part for sintering in the next stage of the process. The new furnace will of course influence all process parameters, such as temperature, temperature ramps and process times. It will be your task to measure ‘what happens inside this oven’, to suggest changes for process improvement, to implement these changes and analyze the results.
